Blaine lies within Anoka and Ramsey counties and has a population over 57,000. You can get in an out of the city by taking Interstate Highway 35, U.S. Highway 10, or State Highway 65. Blaine is home to the 600-acre National Sports Center featuring 50 soccer fields, a golf course, a velodrome, and the Schwan Super Rink. The Schwan Super Rink contains 4 Olympic and 4 regulation ice rinks. Further development is occurring now that will bring another 20 fields for multiple uses including Lacrosse, Ultimate Frisbee, Soccer and a host of other activities.
